Het hier afgebeelde gebouw werd omstreeks 1656 gesticht en in 1740 afgebroken. Het terrein waarop het huis ligt werd al in de vroege middeleeuwen bewoond. Op de aangrenzende "woerd" lag eertijds een Romeinse nederzetting.
